Green Commitment works directly to promote ethical practices, focusing on the transition to cage-free systems in egg production. We collaborate with businesses and consumers, providing education, strategic support and advocacy, with the aim of improving animal welfare. Our mission is to ensure that laying hens live with dignity, driving a more sustainable and compassionate food future.
Corporate policies
Companies have the power to transform the lives of billions of animals by changing their policies. Our corporate department works with companies large and small to secure commitments to ban practices that cause the most animal suffering in their supply chains, while inspiring companies to see animals as more than production machines.
Social Commitment
Our team works to bring visibility to the animal cause in mainstream media (traditional and digital), gaining the support of celebrities and influencers to give animals a voice, and producing critical videos and exclusive content on our social networks to inspire the public to support our journey towards our mission.
Government affairs and public policy
We work with governments and legislators to promote public policies that ban the use of cages in the industry. We advocate for regulations that improve animal welfare and promote more ethical, sustainable and responsible practices. We also collaborate with key sectors to create production standards that respect animal life and facilitate a transition to a cage-free, safer and more conscientious food system.
Enhancing movement
To create a better world for animals, we need a scalable, sustainable, empowered and well-equipped movement. We work to empower and expand the animal protection movement. We inspire more people to become active in the fight to end animal exploitation and invest in developing leaders to spread our mission far and wide. We collaborate with other movements and research ways to be more effective collectively.

We are members of the global coalition Open Wing Alliancewhose aim is to eliminate the cruel practices of the cage system. We are more than 90 organisations from 67 countries who believe that laying hens do not deserve the suffering caused by living in cages.
